Blurb

I am everything you seek. I
am vampire.

Blessed with the gift of
telepathy, Terek always knows what a woman wants. His gift has afforded him
nightly sensual pleasures and exotic treats for centuries, but beneath the
surface he yearns for much more.

Ilona can give him what his
soul craves, but only if he trusts his heart. One fateful choice made out of
desire puts all he cares for in danger. With a civil war and the threat of
Archon hunters at every turn, this Son may lose everything if he can’t find the
balance between heart and mind.

Excerpt

Tracing the outline of her
jaw, he watched the face of this angel and hated having to wake her. But if she
didn’t take his blood, he’d lose her for certain and for the first time since
he’d turned her, he knew he couldn’t bear to think of his world without her.

“Ilona,” he
whispered near her cheek. “Wake. I’m here.”

Slowly her eyelids fluttered
open and eyes vacant and lost stared back at him. “Terek?”

Her gaze cut like a knife to
his heart. She was nearly gone already, her soul slipping into that void
between the vampire and human worlds.

“Look into my eyes,
Ilona. Look! I need you to stay with me.”

Her eyelids drooped as she
began to lose consciousness. Terror raced through his body. There was no more
time to wait. Fear of losing her controlled his every move, and his fangs
exploded into his mouth. In seconds, he’d pierced his wrist and the blood began
to seep from his vein.

Pressing it to her pale lips,
he waited in desperation for her to take his blood into her mouth. The blood
pooled on her lips, but she made no effort to take it.

“Ilona! Listen to your
sire. Drink. Now!” he commanded.

Her eyes opened and turning
her head, she whispered, “No. Let me go.”

More roughly than he should
have, he grabbed her face in his hand and forced her to look at him. “No,
I will not lose you! Drink!”

Her voice began to fade and
faintly she answered, “Please. I can’t live like this.”

Terek bent over her and
placed a kiss on her lips. The fear that he’d lost her already pressed on his
heart and even though he didn’t understand why, he was sure when she left him
she’d take a piece of his soul with her.

He whispered against her lips
one last plea. “Do not take her from me. God, leave her with one who can
care for her. I beg of you. Do not take her.”

“Why do you want me to
live when I don’t?” she whispered hoarsely.

“Because there is
something special in you as there is in all creatures.”

A tiny sigh escaped from
between her lips. “You made me this and left me.”

Cradling her face in his
hands, he said, “I’m sorry. Don’t do this. Don’t leave me.”

“I can’t be one of these
women. I don’t understand this.”

Terek kissed her tenderly.
“Then don’t be. Stay anyway.”

Anguish filled her voice.
“I woke and I was so hungry. But I don’t want food. I hungered for you,
but you were gone.”

“Take from me everything
you hunger for. Take from the one who knows what you need.”

Pressing his wrist to her
mouth, he fed her soul with his blood. Timid, she stared up at him in fear, but
soon her hands held his arm to her lips and she eagerly took what he offered.

Her need for him—for his
blood—touched his heart, and a closeness unlike anything he’d experienced in
ages came over him. Something about Ilona made him feel like he hadn’t felt in
almost seven hundred years.

He wanted to save her, to
show her the wonders the world offered. If she would allow him, he’d give her
that world.

Ilona opened her eyes, and
Terek saw that his blood had begun to bring her back from the empty abyss he’d
feared and she’d begged for. A tiny smile formed on her lips, making him happy.

Excerpt

Alexis
shifted her sore butt as she stood on the ladder. Fatigue like she’d rarely
experienced had slid inside her bones. As much as she wanted to distance herself
from what she’d found, she felt oddly protective of it too. She could have
easily stood guard from above but hadn’t been able to leave that little bit of
skeleton alone and exposed. It had been part of a person once. To be so lost
all this time made Alexis’s heart ache. Rotating her tense shoulders, she
waited. Her muddy jeans clung to her calves, and her shoes were a write-off.
She shivered in the sunlight. Grief pulled at her for this lost child…and for
her own sister. Memories slammed into her. Alexis slammed them back out. This
wasn’t the time or the place. Still the trigger refused to be ignored. After
all, she’d just found a child’s grave, a year to the day she’d placed her kid
sister in one.

“What’s
the problem here?”

Startled,
Alexis tilted her head and squinted up through the morning sun’s rays, to find
a man at odds with his voice. The suit fit the tall muscled frame a little too
well for her peace of mind. The angular face and tone of voice said business
all the way. She couldn’t take her eyes off him. He had to be media.

Better
to get rid of him fast. “The media booth is on the other side,” she
replied, eyeing his suit, the perfect contrast to her fashion statement in
mud.

“I’m
a cop.” He rested his hands on his hips, gazing down at her.

A
cop? She reassessed him. Deep-set grey eyes, high cheekbones supported by a
square jaw. This man had little patience for fools, regardless of what he wore.
Damn, was that a silk shirt? Alexis shook her head. No way he was a cop.
“Look, I’m not an idiot. My morning wasn’t going well before I got here,
now it’s pissed itself right down the drain.”

“How
appropriate, considering where you’re sitting.” He reached into his inside
jacket pocket and pulled out his badge. “I repeat, what’s the
problem?” Exasperation sharpened his voice.

Alexis
clambered up the last two rungs of the ladder. Seconds later, she stood before
him, covered in drying slime. “Let me see that, please.”

He
held his badge before her face.

“Detective
Kevin Sutherland.” Okay, maybe he was telling the truth. She held out her
hand. With her free hand, she gently unfolded the tissue.

His
back stiffened and his angular face sharpened as he studied the bone.
“Where did you get this?”

“When
I fell in, I must have dislodged it from the wall. I think there’s more down
there.” Alexis pointed in the general direction of the ditch.

“Show
me.” He was all business now. He stripped off his jacket and tie,
discarding both on a spot of clean grass.

Alexis
stared as he started down the ladder. You had to appreciate a man who had his
priorities right. She moved to the side of the ladder and pointed. “Search
through the third and fourth rungs, off to the left.”

A
moment later, his heartfelt whisper floated up to her.

“Shit.”

5.0
out of 5 stars–BEST of the Psychic Visions Books

“I’ve
been a fan of this series ever since I read Tuesday’s
Child
. The whole concept of psychics who work alongside police and rescuers
and use their talents to tap into victims and killers really grabbed me.
Because of their psychic abilities, these people are special and yet are often
outsiders to society, trying to fit in. This is #4 (I think) in the series, and
it’s the best so far. with one, platonic with the other–no menages in this
book!) and endearing. If you’ve read the earlier books, you’ll remember Stefan
and he’s more central in this story. I rate it as a Must Read.”–Amy
Atwell “Getting To The Heart of the Story”

5.0
out of 5 stars–Fantastic!!

“Wow!
Dale Mayer has done it again. I’ve read this whole series and it is
exceptional. This is the fourth book in the series (I hope there will be many
more) and I think it’s the best one yet. I love a book that pulls you in and
this one definitely does that. Be prepared to read it from cover to cover in
one sitting. A definite MUST read.”–BizzyBee

5.0 out of 5 stars–Dale Does IT Again! Another Page
Turner

“I’ve
been a student of intuitive development for ten years, and this book could be
an instruction manual – boldly going where no one has gone before. Great plot.
Great suspense. The characters are realistic. The crime is real. The author’s
compassion for humanity shows through in this page turning novel. I didn’t want
it to end. I WANT MORE. Gimme more!”–Angelika

Blurb

A
well-intentioned but clueless romantic is determined to find love for her
lonely neighbor over her exasperated husband’s objections.

Julia
Hawthorne-Florez has the best of intentions, and everyone knows what the road
to Hell is paved with. Her husband Javier accuses her of playing God with
people’s lives, but Julia is simply a fool for love. (Or maybe just a fool?)

When
lonely Sylvia moves in across the street, Julia is determined to find her
match. Of course, there are obstacles. Javier, for one, who’s forbidden any
further matchmaking attempts on his well-intentioned wife’s part. And there’s
the little matter of Sylvia being in love with a man who’s taken a vow of
celibacy.

Julia
schemes; the hamster wheel in her head spins furiously. Handsome Ted is Julia’s
first choice. Except shy Ted happens to be interested in Julia’s best friend,
certified dominatrix Lisa. And so it goes. Julia spins her web; Javier laughs
at her. But Julia always gets the last laugh in this Latin-infused contemporary
romantic comedy.

Excerpt

Ted
stood awkwardly before me, lamenting his poor dumb fat kitty, and I felt a
sudden twinge of inspiration. What could be more perfect and beautiful than
bringing two shadow people together? It was the exact right thing to do. Ted
and Sylvia were both background players. Who could possibly be a better match
for my love-worn friend? I was practically picking out their china pattern,
wondering what their children would look like. Good looking, of course; very
shy.

“So,
Ted, what are you doing for Thanksgiving?” I said, making conversation, trying
to draw him out a little.

He
began to fumble and stammer, “Oh, Thanksgiving. Um, wow. I hadn’t—I—uh…”

Only
Ted. He hadn’t a clue, and it was the next day.

“We’re
eating at three. Join us. Please. I insist.”

“Oh,
uh, my mother —”

“Is
she trying to set you up again?” I said with a laugh, teasing him just a
little. His parents lived back home in Salt Lake City, and it was just like
Bitsy to have arranged a space for him at some eligible young lady’s parents’
dinner table for the holiday.

He
was looking down at his shoes; I leaned over from my seat at the reception desk
where I was temporarily filling in and looked down at them too. They were brown
brogue oxfords, the type serious professionals and college professors wear. His
coordinated blue-and-green argyle socks were hot, in an “I’m in love with my
teacher” sort of way.

“Really,
I insist. No one should be alone on Thanksgiving.”

I
immediately regretted saying that. Nobody wants to feel like they’re unloved
and unpopular. No one wants to feel like a lonely loser. I hoped he didn’t feel
that way from my offhand remark, but he looked at me, right in my eyes, and
nodded.

“That
sounds nice. I’ll be there.”

“Fabulous.”

He
took a few steps and then stopped, turned and asked, “Red or white wine?”

“Both,”
I answered, surprising him. I was only half joking.

As
he walked back to his cubicle, I had to stop myself from rubbing my hands
together like Snidely Whiplash—who I didn’t resemble in this context at all. I
was using my powers for good. This time.

Blurb

I am everything forbidden. I
am vampire.

Haunted by betrayal, Saint
hides in the human world, giving his heart to no one and finding the only
solace from his past in the arms of human women. Now as the Archons begin their
takeover of the vampire world, this Son of Navarus has been marked for death.

Summoned to defeat the
Archons by the world that shunned him, Saint must face his past and Solenne,
the woman he loved and lost a century ago, for only in accepting her will his
body and soul finally find salvation.

Excerpt

The bedroom he’d stay in
during what was quickly feeling like his incarceration was as nice as the rest
of the house. A king-sized antique bed faced a fireplace, and he had his own
bathroom.

Not bad for a prison.

“Maybe I won’t have to
see her except when she brings me French farm girls,” he said with a grin
as he laid back to relax on the bed. He didn’t have much experience with French
women—farm or otherwise—but he suspected they’d be much like any other human
female. In all his travels around the world, he hadn’t found much difference
among human women.

Not that he necessarily paid
attention. His time with them was a means to an end. More truthfully, two ends.
He needed blood as a vampire to keep him connected to his world, and since none
of his vampires were nearby, he’d drink from a human. And he needed that
release sex provided—that moment of bliss that quieted the demons and memories.

That he only slept with human
females had earned him the nickname “Saint” and a status as some kind
of oddity in the vampire world. The sexual joining of sire and vampire was
considered to be the most sublime facet of being a vampire sire, and that first
taste of a newly-turned vampire’s blood slowly teasing her sire’s tongue as he
entered her was a moment of sheer ecstasy.

Or so he’d heard.

Never with any of the
hundreds of females he’d sired had Saint slept with one of his vampires. Their
turning had always been the same as with the males he’d sired. Of course, when
his female vampires heard about what they’d missed out on from others, they
asked and even begged for that closeness with him, only to be denied again and
again.

The last vampire he’d made
love to would be the only vampire to share that with him. He’d gone nearly one
hundred years since then. He’d go another hundred or as long as he walked the
Earth only sleeping with human women. That was part of his penance. He’d done
it for so long, it was part of who he was.

In his limbs, he felt the sun
begin to rise higher above the horizon, but restlessness kept him from some
much-needed sleep. Being back in this house brought memories of Teagan back
once again.

How many nights since hearing
of his death had he spent thinking of him? Thoughts of a lifetime ago and the
closeness of two brothers made vampire on the same night but by two very
different sires crept into his mind.

His brother’s sire, the
son-of-a-bitch who’d consigned him to this place so full of the past, was
nothing like his own sire. Where Vasilije was overbearing and ruled over those
he sired with an iron hand, Kir was simply absent. When he was staked just a
few years after making Saint a vampire, it meant little since he’d not seen him
after being released from his control only months into his new life.

He’d tried to be different
with his vampires, but the scars left by his choices ensured that even when he
was near them there was a distance that arose from simply being him. More of
that penance for what he’d done.

Saint covered his eyes with
his forearm and cursed the ability of vampires to remember. How much easier his
existence would be if he could forget.

Forget them.

This place.

What he’d done all those
years ago that had made him into the creature he was today.

Forget her.

scrutiny. For a self-confessed novice Dom, he had the look down, that was for
damn sure. “Can I say one thing not related to our current discussion, sir?”

Both eyebrows rose. “Of
course.”

“You’re really good at that whole
‘staring a sub down’ thing.”

Ryan threw back his head and
laughed. “I’m a professor. That’s the same look I use with wayward students.”

“A professor, huh?”

“Yes.”

He grinned, and Lisette was
sure she was going to leave a wet spot on her harem pants if he kept that
up. Woo boy.

What would it be like to be
bent over his knee right in his classroom as he applied his large hand or a
ruler to her bared ass? Would he do it in front of the rest of the students?
Would he make her stand in the corner with her spanked ass on display
afterward? Her pussy flooded, and she shifted.

“Lisette.”

His tone snapped her back to
reality. “I apologize, sir.”

“We might have to work on
that tendency to let your attention wander.”

“Yes, sir.” She nodded
quickly.

“I asked you what you needed
from tonight. I don’t like repeating myself.”

“I like to be spanked, sir. I
haven’t been in a while, and I need one.”

“And how hard do you like to
be spanked? I’m sorry if I’m asking a lot of questions, but as I said, I’m new
to this, and I don’t want to hurt you.”

Risking censure, she reached
up to touch his arm before pulling away. “It’s fine. I’d rather you asked the
questions than muddled along, feeling uncomfortable. As far as how hard?” She
shrugged. “You can spank me to tears. Like I said, I do like some pain.” She
chewed the inside of her cheek, trying to decide if she wanted to admit what
she was thinking. Deciding it was better to be honest with Ryan, she asked,
“Would you like me to tell you what I was thinking about a little while ago
when my attention wandered, sir?”

He reached up and brushed a
strand of hair away from her face. “Sure.”

The words came out in a rush.
“I was imagining being in your class, and you calling me out of my chair. You
make me come to the front of the class and get over your knee. You bare my ass,
even though there are other students there, and then pick up a ruler and start
to spank me.”

Blurb

Case
Thomas is always in control whether it’s on the basketball court, the lab where
he works, or in his love life. He thinks he has everything all figured out. All
that changes when his parents pass away during his last year of college and
Case is thrown into fatherhood when he becomes temporary guardian to two
adorable twin toddlers. Weeks later, exhausted and running out of time, Case
must decide if he’s ready to become a father to these children, or give them up
and move on with what’s left of his life. Then he meets Gabbie Vaulst.

Gabbie
is amazing with the kids, owns her own business, and has all the right curves
in all the right places. She can tell Case is attracted to her, but does he
really love her or is he just settling for a surrogate Mom who can wrangle his
new kids? Knowing that she’s falling in love with him, she chooses to push him
away until his world straightens out. Can Case prove to Gabbie, and himself,
that his feelings are real? Or is this sudden family too much for both of them
to handle?

The
odds, as well as members of their past who’ve come out of the woodwork, are
against them, but when kids are involved, all bets are off.

Excerpt:

A little part of her was praying for a kiss as his fingers wrapped
around her loose hair, tucking it behind her ear. Gabbie began to tremble and
licked her lips as Case took another step closer to her. Case leaned in when
Charlie pulled on his pants.

“Up Ace. Up.”

“I just got cock blocked by a two year old.”

“I wouldn’t call it a full-on block.”

“You wouldn’t?”

“No.”

“This isn’t one sided?”

“Up…Bee,” Claire ordered.

“We need to leave now to get her to the doctor on time.”

“Life or death, huh?”

“It could be.”

Gabbie bent down to pick up Claire and saw a bulge in Case’s
pants.

“You need a minute?”

“Yes please.”

Flattered at Case’s reaction to her, she took Charlie’s hand,
snagged Case’s keys from his finger and walked out to get the kids in the car.
Once locked in their car seats, Case came to the car.

“You want to follow in your car?”

“I walked. I live around the corner. Just let me turn on the
security system and we’re off.”

When Gabbie came back outside she could hear Case talking to the
kids because Claire’s window wasn’t closed.

“All I’m saying is cut me a little slack. You know how long it’s
been since a girl…made me feel good. If I’m close to Gabbie…find a toy.”

“Bee’s a toy?” Claire asked with her hands turned palm up in
confusion. “Bee not a toy?”

“I didn’t say Gabbie’s a toy I said…never mind.”

Author Spotlight: Charlie Daye and The Curse Breaker’s Trilogy!

Welcome Charlie Daye!

Tell us about your bestselling
Curse Breaker’s Trilogy.

The
CBT was something I started about a year ago. I had an idea to write a story
about a haunted house which turned out to be much much more. The series centers
around three best friends… Aria, Melissa and Amy who each have their own curse
to break and each story is very different much like the women my characters
were based off of… and yes they are based off some very real very good friends
of mine.

          My
idea when I started this series was to do something different. So rather than
having the women become immortal like their counterparts, I decided that they
would break the curses that would make the men human again so they could live
normal lives.

          Each
storyline is geared towards the heroine’s personality. Aria is a fighter so she
needed to have a serious smack down with her enemy. Melissa is a very laid back
personality so her curse needed to be easy to break. Amy is all about the drama
and she needed an ending that would combine everything from the previous books
into an explosive ending for the series.

          I’ve
read some reviews of the series that state you could read the books
individually but in all honesty that are best read in order that way you
understand why Dominic and Aria love so deeply and why Melissa and Aiden always
seem to be connected at the hip. The series is about the journeys these couples
make and how close they become.

          The
Reservation is my latest release and the finale for the series. It’s Amy’s
story and is very dark and depressing but at the same time is very funny and
sexy. It brings back all of your favorite characters from the first two books
and introduces you to new ones. Some you’ll love others you’ll hate but then
again that was the whole point. This book was extremely painful to write for so
many reasons but I promise you won’t be disappointed.  I feel it’s the perfect ending to a fantastic
series!

The Epic finale in the Curse Breaker’s
Trilogy has arrived!

Blurb

Life
couldn’t have possibly gotten worse for the demon king Alrik. But it did. He
lost the love of his life. Days spent clouded in black and gray were brightened
only with the lovely Arianna near. Her light kept the darkness at bay if only
for a few moments.

And now she’s gone leaving him alone. Now he has nobody. But he has purpose. A
purpose—steely determination—for revenge against the one who cursed him. His
mother. She’s out there in the rift, gathering forces, for what, he’s unsure.

A mere
human witch by the name Abbigail Krenshaw is the key to saving himself and
killing his mother–or so a little old seer tells him under sword point. Small,
fragile, and breakable Abbigail almost reminds him of his lost love, yet she’s
different. Strong, charming, always pushing him in ways that Arianna wouldn’t
dare. He can feel her worming her way into his battered, blackened heart and
can’t decide whether he wants to close her inside forever, or lock her out.

He needs Abbigail. He needs the human witch to sacrifice herself in order to
save his tortured soul. He’s more than willing to sacrifice her for his
purpose, but the more he’s around her the more difficult it becomes to uphold
the decision. Can he really use her to save himself and let her die? His heart
screams no but his mind says yes.

Excerpt

The
human mumbled to herself, her head lolling left and right. Something tightened
in his gut as he looked at her. He didn’t like it. Gazing upon her stirred
something deep inside of him.

Alrik
cursed.

Who was
she to try to compete with his Arianna? She was no Arianna. Arianna was a
goddess. Beautiful, shining, dark black hair fell down to her slender waist and
a graceful figure and demeanor that could only be obtained with the best of haute,
aristocratic blood in her veins. This human looked nothing like his Arianna.
She had hair the color of wet dirt. It looked thin and not heavy like Arianna’s
hair. She had wide hips and more curves than Arianna, but Arianna didn’t need
blatant curves. Her graceful figure brought about attention alone.

Simply
put, she wasn’t his Arianna.

Then
why did his gut clench just looking at her?

Too
long without a woman, maybe. His gaze trailed over her form once more taking in
the slight span of her waist and the flare of her hips. The sight stirred
something hot buried deep inside him.

He
wondered how she’d feel pressed tight against him…bare skin to bare skin.

His
cock hardened like steel.

Enough!

Alrik
charged into the dark cave. He didn’t need his sight in his place; he knew it
like the edge of his sword. He went far back into the cave, sidestepping the
fire pit he’d made before he’d left to find the human. Then he dropped the
human to the ground. He wasn’t gentle about it and she gave him the response
he’d been looking for. Her eyes shot open, mouth forming a big circle as pain
pinched her features. She let out a low, husky groan that did nothing to
alleviate the pressure in his groin.

“What
the hell,” she groaned, turning on her side to rub her back.

“We
will talk now.”

She
hadn’t been aware of him, he realized. Now she was. Slowly her head fell back,
her eyes turned up to meet his. Recognition dawned slowly. Her eyes darted
wildly around the cave filling with panic and fear. She stood in a rush then
wobbled on her feet. Panic had her in its grip. She swung her arms out, found
the wet cave wall with a hand, and then leaned towards it to steady herself,
pressing both hands against it.

“What
the hell’s going on? Oh my god, where am I?”

“Be
quiet. I will talk and you will listen. Do you understand?” He hadn’t met a
human in years. In his previous experience, some were smart and others not so
much. He hoped his salvation didn’t lie in a daft girl who looked entirely too
young to have the amount of power the seer spoke of.

She
turned and glared at him. The spark of anger was good, and the cleverness he
spotted in her eyes even better. Good, she wouldn’t be daft.

“Excuse
me? How about you tell me who you are, demon, where I am, why I’m here, and
what you want with me?” She crossed her arms and set her light green eyes on
him.

Alrik
had the distinct urge to stalk over to her and tower over her just to see her
quiver in fear. She will learn her place soon enough. Her attitude would go
even quicker. He was a king, and some lowly human would not treat him like a
servant.

Author Bio

I love
to write the kind of stories that will keep you up late at night

and
make your heart pound. It’s my goal in writing to make each new book better,
more exciting, more action-packed, not only to test myself as a writer but to
keep thrilling you. I’m always trying to push the boundaries with my
imagination, and yours, to create something new and different.

If
you’re a fan of paranormal romance novels then you’ll love my Bellum Sisters Trilogy.
This isn’t your typical romance story, so be prepared for a kick of heat and
tons of action. The Bellum Sisters Trilogy has received excellent reviews from
paranormal bloggers and two of the three books are Top Picks from Night Owl
Reviews.

Now, if
you like shorter books with quite a bit of heat, humor, and action then I’d
recommend the Kategan Alphas series. This erotic series features the sexy
Kategan family and all the lucky men and women who get to meet them and
complete their lives.
