1. How did you choose your genre? What made you write this book?

I have always enjoyed fantasy and who doesn’t love romance. To be honest the book used to be a thriller so that emphasis stayed even though I rewrote just about everything else. I wrote this book because it was my first novel and Trouble had been with me a long time. If I’d never written her, I’d never write anything else.

2. Writers write what they know, and must observe the world. Are you a first born, middle, or last child and how does this shape your view of the world?

I am the middle child. I’m the mediator. I honestly try to weigh everything and have been ever since I became an adult. I see the world through the eyes that have witnessed those getting praise for being here first or because they’re the baby. I am independent and know how to fend for myself. That is the life of a middle child.

3. Where is your favorite place to write?

At my desk, with a huge cup of coffee. Sometimes with my cat on my lap.

4. How do you feel about killing your darlings, and what do you do with the remains?

I have no problem killing them. In fact, cutting is my favorite part of editing. I keep them in a folder labeled deleted scenes.

5. You are introduced to your favorite author. Who is it, and what is that one burning question you must ask them?

My most favorite of all time has passed already. But my second favorite is Yasmine Galnorne. I would ask her what she does to refill her well when it is running dry.

6. Inquiring minds want to know…tell readers something about you that no one knows.

I used to have a mole in middle of my fingers in the shape of a heart so when I put up the peace sign I would mean “peace and love” to people when I made that sign.

7. You are stranded on a deserted island with only a backpack for company. What three items are in your survival pack?

A knife would be the only thing that may or may not run out. Things that I couldn’t live without would be my vape and my computer but they’d be dead within a week. Hard question.

8. If you could have one superpower in your existence, what would it be?

I would be invisible so I could go wherever I wanted to go.

9. Favorite snack?

Well I eat Keto so mine is a salad. But I make my salad special.

10. Indy 500 – Do you know how to get where you’re going or do you drive the speed limit?

I never drive the speed limit.
