Jordan
woke suddenly and sat up in her bed. She rubbed at her eyes to make sure she
saw what she thought she saw. “You! What are you…? How did you…? Get out
of my room!” She stood up and stalked toward him when he just sat there,
that smirk apparently tattooed on his face, a face too handsome to belong to
such a lowlife.

Canaan’s
smirk-smile widened as she got closer. He was looking at her body, and some of
his teeth didn’t look right. She didn’t have the presence of mind to identify
just what was wrong, though. Jordan glanced down and was immediately reminded
that she had slept in the nude.
