Jude Deveraux is one of my favorite romance authors. I just finished True Love, the first book in the Nantucket Bride series. It is vintage Deveraux. If you love her heartfelt romances that just make the world all right you must start this series!

I love Anne Rice’s gothic writing style, I grew up on it. The Vampire Lestat is one of my all-time favorite novels. I was mesmerized by the sensual horror in the story. And then there are the Mayfair Witches, which introduced us to a whole new world of beings. I own all of Ms. Rice’s novels and go back to them again and again just to cuddle with those wonderful phrases.

I am currently reading The Wolf Gift, the first book in Ms. Rice’s werewolf series. If you are a fan of Ms. Rices style of writing, I recommend you start the series.

 

The second book, The Wolves of Midwinter will be released October 15th. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book!

  2. I just finished reading True Love too. I’m a huge fan of Jude Deveraux and have a collection of her books which I read over and over again.

I love it all, but lately I’ve been reading a lot of UF with romantic elements — the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, the Chronicles of Elantra series by Michelle Sagara, The Others series by Anne Bishop, Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane, Black London by Caitlin Kittredge, the In Death series by J.D. Robb and the Alex Craft series by Kalayna Price.

  9. I love all kinds of romance. The one book I keep going back to though is Born of Silence by Sherrilyn Kenyon. It is book 5 of The League series. Every time I read it I can’t put it down even though I know what’s going to happen.
