Thank you so
much, Danita for having me here today. I’m so excited to introduce you to a
good friend of mine, Rebecca Carol. Before she arrives, let me share a few
things about her.

First of all, Rebecca Carol is the heroine in her story OPEN HO– USE.
She is full of life and a sassy, handful of a lady. She has a great sense of
humor, is very friendly, warm, and generally has a good time. She tends to give
everyone the benefit of the doubt and tries to be optimistic about life. On the
flip side, she has had one terrible experience after another with men. Her latest
mistake continually haunts and harasses her.

Rebecca is a realtor for a small office in Houston, Texas. She is
quite happy with her position right now, but could work in any metropolitan
area successfully. Rebecca loves Texas and really doesn’t want to leave the
area she grew up in and wants to remain close to family and friends.

Rebecca loves to meet new people and derives joy from helping her
clients find a home fits just perfectly.

Character Interview

Tall, slender woman with long auburn hair pokes her head around the
entry and smiles. Her blue eyes twinkle as she approaches Krystal and Danita.
She sits in the empty chair facing the other two women.

Rebecca: Hi Krystal. Hi Danita.

Krystal: Good morning, Rebecca. Thank you so much for making time to
stop by.

Rebecca: Anything for you, Krystal. Danita, thank you for hosting us.
Krystal is so excited for the release of OPEN HO– USE. It’s her first published
book. I’m just honored to be a part of that experience with her.

Krystal: You are so sweet. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions
for the audience?

Rebecca: Fire away!

Krystal: What is your favorite guilty pleasure?

Rebecca: *grin* Well… I could go two ways on that question.
Honestly, I’d have to say Robert is my favorite guilty pleasure, but if we are
talking food, anything with dark chocolate.

Krystal: Mmmm… good answer. Okay, how would you describe yourself to
our audience?

Rebecca: Well, I would have to say that I’m fun, honest, and a good
listener. I have a great group of friends, I’m a cat lover, and a romance novel
addict. In fact, Robert has teased me about my collection on more than one
occasion.

Krystal: What do you consider your greatest weakness?

Rebecca: I trust people very easily, sometimes too quickly.

Krystal: It’s your big heart.

Rebecca: Yes. Thank goodness Robert came along when he did though. One
of my ex’s just wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Krystal: Where do you go to relax or unwind?

Rebecca: Hot bubble bath, hands down. Although, I do have a new
favorite spot, but I don’t want to give away too much.

Krystal: Yes, we don’t want to give anything away. *smile* What
do you live for Rebecca?

Rebecca: Oh wow! That’s a big question. I suppose you could say I live
to love life. I love my job, even when my boss doesn’t think I spend enough
money on my clothes. *laughing* There’s more to life than the tag in
your clothes. I love to see the look in my clients faces when they find ‘the
right’ property! There’s nothing that quite beats that feeling… well except the
look I get from Robert when I walk in the door. *blushes bright red* That
kind of love is definitely something to live for.

Krystal: Is there anything you would kill for?

Rebecca: To protect family, though I would hope never to be put in
that situation.

Krystal: That sounds about right. Okay, can you give up three of your
deepest, darkest secrets.

Rebecca: Nope! Sorry, my secrets are staying with me.

Krystal: Well, I had to try. What about a super power? If you had one,
what would it be?

Rebecca: A superpower…hmmm… Reading minds. Yep, Robert always seems to
be able to read mine. I would like for once to know what’s going on in his.

Krystal: You don’t know? *snicker* I’m going to tell him to be
more direct with you.

Rebecca: I mean besides ‘that’. *shakes head and laughs*  You better not say anything. He’s insatiable
as it is.

Krystal: Here’s a fun one. A biography has been written about you.
What do you think the title would be in six words or less?

Rebecca: Small Town Girl Finds Soul Mate

Krystal: If money were not an object, where would you most like to
live?

Rebecca: I would love to visit a lot of places, but I love living in
Houston. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

Krystal: Fill in the blanks for the next questions.

Rebecca: Okay.

Krystal: I can never _________ because ____________.

Rebecca: I can never have a dog because I’m allergic.

Krystal: The next time I _____________ I will _________________.

Rebecca: The next time I see Robert I will smile and think naughty
thoughts.

Krystal: That was too easy.

Rebecca: Sorry, these are hard. *grin* But it is the truth.
Just seeing his big brown eyes and rippling abs. My favorite activity is
sunbathing with him. God, I love his stomach. I could just… Oh, sorry, I got
sidetracked there for a moment.

Krystal: That’s quite all right. Next question. Why do I always
______?

Rebecca: Why do I always let Robert have his way?

Krystal: Why do you?

Rebecca: Because I like to make him happy. If he’s happy, then so am
I. It fulfills me in a way that’s hard to explain. I don’t want you to think he
treats me badly, it’s quite the opposite; he treats me like a queen. But small
things or choices I used to make, he takes care of it now. He can even pick out
clothes for me that I swear I would have picked out myself. It’s uncanny how
tuned in to me he is.

Krystal: My favorite flavor is _________ because __________.

Rebecca: Easy! My favorite flavor is chocolate because it makes me
happy!

Krystal: I love __________ because I ____________.

Rebecca: Also easy. I love Robert because I know he loves me more than
anything.

Krystal: Last question. Name one thing you must do before you die, and
why?

Rebecca: I want to sky dive. I think it must be so fabulous to see the
world from such a vantage point. To feel the wind rushing past you and the
illusion of floating as you fall just seems like it would be exhilarating.

Krystal: Interesting, I wasn’t expecting that from you.

Rebecca: I have to keep a few secrets. *smile*

Krystal: Thank you so much for spending some time with us today.

Rebecca: Oh, it was my pleasure. Thank you for having me over and good
luck with the release tomorrow!

 OPEN
HO– USE Blurb:

Intrinsically woven into the fabric of human
existence, Aphrodite, Titan Goddess of Love and Passion, dedicates herself to
matching soul mates.

Rebecca Carol and Robert Corvin missed their original chance to bond when Ares,
God of War, took control of Robert’s career ten years ago. Their souls have
naturally pulled them back together for a second chance at love, but… How far
will the gods go to get their own way?

Will divine influence create another perfect match or will it tear them apart
forever?

Excerpt:

A
deep male voice boomed through her garden, breaking her concentration. “Aphrodite!”
The images of Robert and Rebecca swirled and were lost as the pool’s surface
went clear. She turned to face the irate male.

“Ditee!
Why can’t you just leave well enough alone?”

Aphrodite
leaned against the cool rock and gave him a lazy smile. She’d expected Ares to
complain. Robert Corvin played a key role in research and weapon development
for the United States. No human got into his position without a little shove
from the god of war.

“I
will do exactly as I wish, especially when it comes to souls who have searched
as long as these two have.”

“He’s
mine, Ditee. I’ve finally got him where he will be of most use, and now I hear
he has moved. Because of a girl! I knew it was your fault. Hands off.” His eyes
flashed red, and a deep growl rumbled from his chest.

Aphrodite
rose to face him. Her power rose and flamed within her, causing her skin to
glow white. Ares took a step back. “You will not speak to me so rudely,” she
said, her voice taking on its godly attributes, booming across the garden like
a sonic wave. Ares stumbled a little from the force. “I am your superior. These
souls deserve to be together, and you will not interfere.”

“The hell I won’t.”
